Stewart S.
Paul Lupi was the first and to this date, the only trainer I have ever had. When I first saw
him I thought working out with him would last as long as most of my diets, perhaps
two or three weeks. My wife and I have now been working with Paul consistently for five
years.

Paul motivated me more than virtually any other person in my life. He gave me the
confidence to conquer obstacles that I had put in front of myself. He expected a lot from
me but also knew my limitations. His workouts made me hurt but they were always
just shy of the point where I’d never want to see him again. A great balance.

Trustworthy, conscientious, responsible, yes he’s all that and a lot more. He is the rare
individual that gives and keeps on giving. Paul became more than a trainer, he
became a dear friend and a part of my family.
Paul F.

As my personal trainer for almost 7 years, Paul has made an enormous positive
difference in terms of my health and fitness.

From the very start, Paul was able to immediately ascertain what I needed – both from
a physical and a psychological point of view – in order to keep me motivated and
working.  This quickly translated into very positive results.  In a very short time I was
able to lose a great deal of body fat and increase my lean body mass substantially.  I
feel much better physically, and this has also resulted in great benefits to my energy
and mental outlook.

Because of the tremendous results I was able to achieve working with Paul, I was
inspired five years ago to enlist the entire staff of my company in a fitness program
designed by Paul.  Now, my wife, my business partner, his wife, and all of our
employees are enjoying the benefits of this program.  Our employees are appreciative
of this unusual corporate benefit, and are much stronger and healthier since the
program began.  Absenteeism is down, and productivity has risen.

I’m very pleased to give Paul my highest recommendation.

FITNESS FOR GEEZERS (AND GEEZERESSES)

When are you too old for fitness training?

Never.

If you have your doctor’s approval and a fitness trainer who understands you
limitations and tailors your program to accommodate them.

I am 87.   More than eight years ago I had a stroke that weakened my right arm and
leg.   More than seven years ago I became a client of trainer Paul Lupi, who mixes a
little physical therapy with my fitness training.  The first few years he insisted I wear a
heart-rate monitor, which he provided.  When my pulse rate began to fluctuate
erratically, he sent me to my doctor, who recommended a pacemaker.   With the
pacemaker my heart-rate has remained within acceptable limits.  Paul would like for
me to keep wearing a monitor but I am too lazy to do that.  From the beginning, he has
asked how I feel after every exercise set.  The few times I have felt it would be difficult to
continue,  he has stopped my session at once.   The only thing that bothers me a little
is sometimes  when I follow a slim young woman on a weight machine Paul has to
reduce the weight on the apparatus.

My wife, 84, is also a client.  We work out at  the same time but her routine is different.
She has torn cartilage in a knee and Paul works around that, concentrating on upper-
body training.  She has become a role model for the young,  hard-body women at our
gym who are pleased to learn they can keep on doing what they are doing for many
years to come.

So, you are never to old to work out regularly if your doctor approves and you find
yourself a Paul Lupi.

Lukas B.

Paul Lupi was my personal trainer from 2001-2005. Paul became completely
committed to my wellbeing, and designed a diet and fitness program that transformed
my lifestyle. Paul's rational, no-nonsense approach was refreshing, and he
successfully found a workable balance between my fitness goals and busy career.
Paul is an exceptional coach, and I highly recommend his services.

TOM S.

I had the privilege of meeting Paul and having him be my trainer when I joined a
fitness studio with which he was connected in 2003. Paul is a "personal" "trainer" in
every sense of those words: he was personable, put me at ease (as I had only one
other fitness experience before and it was a negative one), and instilled confidence in
me that he knew what would work best for me to achieve my fitness goals. He would
be a kind and tough taskmaster, going "outside the box" to find exercises that would
meet my needs and stretch my physical limits just enough to take my body and
stamina to new levels. I can't say enough about how Paul's coaching was
professional, caring, and spot-on in what I needed. He was one of several influences
that have gotten me committed to fitness and welcome the opportunity to be as fit as
possible.
